Registration notes: Murton Trust is a charity with a dual educational and environmental purpose. Situated on a former quarry near Forfar in Angus, the Trust manages a nature reserve. Their mission is to provide a unique environment in which children, young people and adults can learn and develop essential skills for life. The tartan colours are intended to reflect those seen around the farm and the nature reserve and those found within the animals, birds, flora and fauna through the Scottish seasons.
