Registration notes: A hunting tartan created for Ken Hillsden and his family, combining their Scottish and English heritage. The design and colours are intended to symbolise their passion for field sports, and the pursuits of sailing, fishing and hill walking in the beautiful landscape of Scotland: muted green is intended to represent the hills and forests of the Glens; purple represents the heather clad grouse moors; yellow represents the fields of wheat and barley in the beautiful county of Angus and red is intended to represent Ken’s love of Scotland and the red rose, symbolising the eternal love for Ken’s late wife and his children’s mother, Irene.
