Registration notes: This tartan was commissioned by James Dorrance’s family to celebrate his 60th birthday. The design elements are derived from the family colours, the Murray of Atholl tartan to represent James’ mother, and James’ military career. The tartan was designed on a date to commemorate the day that James arrived in Canada.
