Registration notes: This tartan is to commemorate the annual Four Days Marches that takes place in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Every year people visit and walk around Nijmegen and its surrounding countryside for four consecutive days. The colours were selected to represent the event: gold and green for the ribbon of the Nijmegen-Marches Medal and red, white and blue for the Netherlands national flag; green and blue for the landscape and sky.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
