This Estate has been in Joe Gibbs' family since 1857, save for a short interlude, and prior to that these lands were once owned by the Frasers of Belladrum. The estate tartan colours have been influenced by the surrounding landscape, ancient green forests and native lichens. Then coupled with a contrasting russet red, a colour that signifies the passion and pride many generations have had for the Belladrum Estate. This Estate is also home to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival which has been staged annually since 2004. A modern vibrant version of this tartan has been woven, inspired by the vibrancy of the festival held annually on the Estate. This version will be used to promote the Tartan Heart Festival.
