Registration notes: This tartan was created for the ‘Remembering Together: Scottish Borders’ project which marks the experiences of the covid pandemic in the Borders. This tartan is the result of a co-creation process with people from across the Borders, led by artists Alister Lownie and Katherina Radeva. The colours and pattern are intended to reflect the very varied experiences of participants, and a desire for the new tartan to be a link between their communities. Remembering Together is a project to co-create memorials which honour the people lost, mark what has been lost and changed, and preserve the best of what was learned and created together during the Covid pandemic.
