Registration notes: Erica’s sixth great grandfather landed in South Carolina in 1742 and the tartan colours are from the flags of the many states through which he travelled. His Scottish descendants lived mostly in the southwest of Scotland and Arran with which the name of Fullerton is closely associated. The structure of the design is based on an 1850 tartan and the date of 1742 has been commemorated in the red and black threadcounts.
