Registration notes: The colours of Heritage of Halifax tartan are intended to depict some of the beloved icons of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Colours: blue is for the ocean that surrounds 3/4 of the province; green for Point Pleasant park; white for the town clock, originally built in 1803; pink for the flowers found in Halifax Public gardens; grey for the naval base and ships located on the Halifax waterfront and yellow, representing gold, is intended to represent the beautiful sunsets over the world’s 2nd largest natural harbour.
