Registration notes: This tartan is based on the Climate Stripes infographic created in 2018 by Professor Ed Hawkins of the Reading University. This tartan features 7 colours, 3 blues and 4 orange/reds, these colours being those that are intended to represent hot and cold, and feature in the Climate Stripes infographic. The design incorporates the temperature changes from 1850 to 2022 to create a tartan version of the infographic. The warp and the weft consist of 173 threads, each marking a year of global temperature change.
