Registration notes:	The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Tartan was chosen and approved by H.M. The Queen in 2022. There are seven colours in this tartan, representing the seven decades of Her Majesty’s reign. The colours used include platinum grey in recognition of Her Jubilee, and green to reflect the King George VI (Green Stewart) tartan; red, white, and blue are for the colours of the United Kingdom flag, and gold represents the Crown. The sett of the tartan has been developed from the King George VI (Green Stewart) tartan which was designed by Kinloch Anderson for HM King George VI at his request. It also reflects the long-standing historical connection of the Royal Family with the Stewart tartans, particularly the Royal Stewart.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
