Registration notes: The first tartan design for Prickly Thistle Scotland Ltd, a new company based in the Highlands of Scotland, which will market luxury goods made in Scotland, supporting the company mantra 'Essentially Scottish'. The tartan, which has been woven in a chunky cashmere fabric, was inspired by an old bothy blanket. The pallet of colours represents the wild scottish thistles found in the glens of the highlands.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
