Registration notes: This Tartan is designed for the descendants of Cumberland Dugan I, who emigrated from Coleraine, Ireland to North America, settling in Baltimore in 1767. Colours: yellow and blue represent the family colours and the family’s historical ties to the US Navy; light and dark blue represent the ocean which brought Cumberland to the New World and upon which he established a successful shipping company; green represents Ireland and the black and red lines to honour those who were lost before their time.
