Registration notes: The breath-taking landscapes and famous sunsets on the Isle of Islay were the inspiration behind the Islay Mist tartan which uses ocean shades of grey, blue & deep purple. See the Silver Mist (#6927), Lomond Mist (#10422), Oban Mist (#11010), and Arran Mist (#11544).
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
