Registration notes: The Rablogan Thistle by the Loch tartan was designed to portray, through colour and density in a traditional Scottish cultural manner, the visual image of clusters of Scottish Thistle nestled along the shores of Highland lochs. The colours green and purple reflect the thistles, while the blue and grey depict the reflecting sky on the waters of the lochs. The reds represent the essence of the Highlands flowing in the veins of those appreciative of this imagery.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
