Registration notes: A tartan for Gary & Syvlia, their three children and their family. The tartan is known by the family as the ‘Fivey’ because of the ‘y’’s that appear in each of the names of the 5 family members. Colours: green is special to all the family members, represented by the 5 green lines at the centre of the design; the champagne colour represents the liquor store they own in Rotterdam; black represents the family’s dogs and purple represents the Scottish heather celebrating Sylvia’s Scottish descent.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
