Registration notes: A personal tartan for Vicky Jiang & Andrew Cumine to celebrate their wedding. Based on Comyn/Cumming tartan sett, the colours chosen reflect those significant to Andrew and Vicky: red represents Edinburgh where they both studied, and China, the birth place of Vicky; blue represents Scotland, Andrew’s country of birth; white, black and green link back to the original Comyn Tartan. The colours red, black, yellow, white and green (for Jade) also have also have special significance in Chinese culture and great importance for special occasions.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
