The weaving of this tartan is exclusive to Marton Mills, Otley, UK, using only the colours specified by their code JR1317TX.


Registration notes: A tartan inspired by the designer’s time in the US Marines. Teufel Hunden is a German nickname for Marines earned in WWII. Colors: blue represents the Marines' main mission of protecting naval ships and the world's seas; green is for the lands where Marines are "first to fight"; red is for the blood shed in the many conflicts in which Marines have served, and gold for the designer’s Airborne goldwing brothers and fellow Marine Riggers.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
