Registration notes: A corporate tartan for Morehead State University (MSU), formally Morehead Normal School founded in 1887. MSU is a public, comprehensive regional university located in the foothills of Eastern Kentucky and Appalachia. The region MSU calls home was settled by immigrants from all over, including Scotland and Ireland. The colours were chosen for the design to represent the university’s immigrant heritage and resilience to preserve the nature of the institution and the people it serves.
