Registration notes: The directors of Valvona & Crolla were commissioned by the board of House of Fraser (Stores) Ltd., to create a tartan to celebrate and commemorate the 180th anniversary of Jenners, their flagship department store in Edinburgh. This design reflects on the ancient stonework of the historic and iconic Jenners building (standing on the corner of Princes Street and St David's Street). It includes blue to represent the original blue brand colour of Jenners; red for the Fraser tartan and has a stripe of white to reflect the home land of Scotland. Shades of red, blue, brown, yellow, and white combine to reflect the heritage, stability and future optimism of the iconic Jenners department store.
