Registration notes: This tartan has been designed to celebrate the Scottish ancestry of the Jordan family living in Cornwall. The yellow/gold and red colours have been taken from the Cornish Hunting tartan (STR ref. 765). The black acknowledges their Scottish ancestry beginning in the coal mines of Lanarkshire. The dark blue has been taken from the Clan Elliot (STR ref. 1102) tartan, with the light blue representing the coastal waters stretching from Cornwall and all around Scotland.
