Registration notes: Designed by Marc-André Lapierre & Chantal Sabourin, this tartan was created to celebrate the union of two families: Lapierre from Québec, Canada and Sabourin from Ontario, Canada. The colours chosen have personal significance: blue represents their Quebec roots while the green represents the Franco-Ontarian community; dark orange colour represents the groom's colour and the purple for the bride; white makes allusion to the creation of the tartan for their wedding. The intent is to use this design as their family tartan.
