Registration notes: This is a custom tartan for a company called Foster Brother Customs. The colours were chosen to represent the company and its origins. The green, brown and black are commonly used in modern camouflage so were chosen to honour military both past and present. The earthy colours were also chosen to represent their origins from a rural farming community. The green for new crop and the brown for freshly farmed ground. The black and grey for the rocky hills in north western Oklahoma as well as their native rattlesnakes. Lastly, these colours generally represent the kinship their pioneering ancestors had with the land and each other.
