Registration notes: A personal tartan designed for Glen Moyer. The colours that feature in this design reflect his connections with Texas, his birthplace and his strong affiliation and ancestral link with Scotland. Using the prominent blues as found on the Texas flag, a dark navy, and the Saltire, a medium sky blue, these have been arranged with a third blue, a deep cobalt colour which is Glen's personal signature colour. The red strike through represents his Scottish genealogy through his father, by using his fathers favourite colour. The white strike though represents his connection with his mother. Both further reflect the two flags of his heritage. The specific yarn counts used in the design all hold a personal meaning.
