Restrictions: Yes. For the exclusive use of members of the 2nd Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment Pipers and Drummers, members who under their duty within the Second Battalion are required to wear the tartan in accordance with their military uniform and any persons that the Commanding Officer of the Second Battalion deems required to wear for military or personal use.
Registration notes: Members of the Second Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment currently wear the Australian Tartan however due to the re-role of the Second Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment it was decided that a new tartan specific to the unit would be created and implemented to further distinguish members of the Second Battalions Pipes and Drums.
