Registration notes:	Dunlouise is a Native Angus Herd located in the middle of the County of Angus where its breeding origins began nearly 200 years ago. Dunlouise Aberdeen Angus are holding an international on farm sale in 2017 to commemorate this milestone and to celebrate their achievement of removing this breed from the Critically Endangered List of The Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Colours: the boundaries of Angus are seen as the blue of the North Sea to the South and East; the white is the snow topped mountains to the North; the lush green grassland, the purple heather covered hills and the magenta hues of soft fruit all make up this fertile farming area of Strathmore and beyond.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
