Registration notes:	This tartan was designed by Warpweftweave in conjunction with service users at Oakland Centre, Dundee, a day-care centre run by Dundee City Council which provides a wide range of activities for older people. The project started as an activity created to encourage service users to celebrate St Andrew’s day and honour their "Scottishness" in a creative and meaningful manner. A total of ten different designs were created, either individually or as part of a group. The winning design was created by a group of three service users who called themselves “The Tuesday Terrors". They felt the colours they chose (red, black and natural white) were a good contrast. The group did not want too many colours in their tartan as they wanted it to be straightforward and unfussy.

Woven Sample:	A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
