Registration notes: The tartan was created by combining the clan setts of Cameron and Graham of Menteith, of which the Garvock family have ancestral family ties. Geometry: The yellow pivot (with the red) represents great grandmother Margaret Cameron; the four black quadrants (surrounding the green pivot) represent four generations all named James Millar Garvock; green represents Garvock hill the suggested origin of the Garvock family name in the parish of the same name in Kincardineshire.
Information notes: Designed by Steven Patrick Sim (the Tartan Artisan), as a tartan commissioned by Mr James Millar Garvock (copyright Mr Garvock © 2015). This tartan may be used by all those with the surname Garvock, and permission is granted to allow the tartan to be woven without restrictions. For further information contact: [email protected].
