Registration notes: Designed by John Gillespie, Knockando Woolmill Company Ltd, for Buchanhaven Heritage Society (BHS) to celebrate their success in purchasing and refurbishing the old school in Buchanhaven to use as a Heritage and Community Centre. The tartan is based on the Ferguson sett and the colours chosen by the local community are: blue for the North Sea; red for the local granite; green and gold from the local school tie; silver for the herring.
