Tartan designed and supplied by Kinloch Anderson, products available through The Royal College of Defence Studies, Seaford House, 37 Belgrave Square, LONDON, SW1X 8NS to alumni of the College, its antecedant and descendent organisations, and to those others demonstrating a link with the College to the satisfaction of the Commandant.



Registration notes: The Seaford House Tartan has been created for The Royal College of Defence Studies, founded in 1927 as the Imperial Defence College, and accommodated at Seaford House, Belgrave Square, since 1946. It adopted its present title by kind permission of Her Majesty the Queen in 1970. The tartan incorporates broad stripes of Navy Blue, Green and Air Force Blue to commemorate the heritage of the three UK Armed Forces, and thin stripes of white and red to acknowledge the civilian members of the College and all Members who have fallen in combat or conflict during the life of the College.
Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.
